Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary School
On this day, we delivered our very first round of care packages to all five classes of kindergarteners in the Flint Community. We distributed 88 hand decorated, summer-themed care packages that consisted of items like books, coloring supplies, jump ropes, and sunglasses.
A team of 15 student volunteers from Adams High School
spent the day with the kids doing crafts and hanging out, and we finished the day watching a short dance performance the kindergartners put together.
We couldn’t have asked for a better first event, and we’re so fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time with these amazing kids.
