Bow Elementary-Middle School
Changing times call for changing the way we give. We had planned this event in March 2020 with the second graders of Bow Elementary-Middle School right before the pandemic closed all in-person schools.
Since it was supposed to be right after Valentine’s Day, Adelia and I planned for the care packages and workshops to be focused on self-love and loving those around you. The packages contained items like white boards, books, hats and gloves, journals, and various other school supplies.
Fast forward a year, we were finally able to visit all in-person students at the school. On top of the educational resources and clothes we’ve provided, we added reusable cotton face masks and hand sanitizers. We want to extend a HUGE thank you to ILERA Apothecary for donating 70 of their all-natural, sustainable hand sprays.
While we weren’t able to spend the day with the kids this year, Adelia prerecorded a reading and empowerment workshop for the students to follow along with in class.
