Leadership Team
Wendy Dong
CEO and Founder
Wendy Dong is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan studying Business Administration, Spanish, and Community Action & Social Change. After attending Stanford's Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes in 2015 and 2017, she was inspired to create For Brighter Days as a way to make the leap in living a life of giving. At her time at U of M, she has served as a founding executive board member of Propel Business Club, been a member of Poverty Solutions’ Student Advisory Board, helped rezoning efforts in Detroit’s Hope Village neighborhood, and conducted multidisciplinary research on social inequity.
Wendy hopes through this effort, it will make a difference in the lives and areas surrounding her.

On campus, she is the DEI director for Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity, a consultant for BOND Consulting Club, and a member of the Michigan Community Scholars Program and Black Business Undergraduate Society. Audrey’s mission over the following years in Ann Arbor is to work within the intersectionality of social impact and business through working with local companies and volunteering with community organizations. She looks forward to the next For Brighter Days events to further connect and aid students across southeast Michigan in any way possible.
